What this service is
Business Value Calculator provides free tools that help people buying or selling a small business understand what it might be worth. Every result is an estimate shown as a range, built from the information you provide and general industry data.
Estimates, not appraisals
Nothing on this site is a formal appraisal, financial advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell. Real deals depend on details our tools can't see. Before you make a decision, work with a qualified accountant, attorney, or business appraiser.
Your account
- You must provide a real email address you control. We sign you in with a one-time link, so there's no password to manage.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't share your sign-in links.
- You can close your account at any time by emailing us.
What you submit
- You keep ownership of anything you enter or upload.
- You confirm you have the right to share it with us, including documents a seller or broker gave you.
- You give us permission to process it to produce your analysis, to review our tools for quality, and to build aggregate anonymized benchmarks. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no scraping, no attempts to overload or break it, no uploading content you don't have the right to share, and no using the tools for anything unlawful.
No guarantees
The service is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will be error-free or always online, and we aren't liable for decisions you make based on its output.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service grows. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
